| ANNUAL S/L PREMIUM TAX STATEMENT |
No later than January 31 of each year, we will send e-mail notification that tax is due March 1 on accumulated premium reported for the previous calendar year. Tax is not based on effective date of the policy; it is assessed based on the stamping office date of acceptance of the affidavit.
Premium tax is payable to the Idaho Department of Insurance - NOT the stamping office.
Log in to access your pre-filled electronic Tax Statement, sign and send to the Idaho DOI along with the tax. The Annual Statement must be submitted to the Idaho Department of Insurance even if your tax consequence is "0." If you were licensed in Idaho as a SL broker during any portion of the tax year but your license is no longer active, the form still must be submitted. |
